Aerotek Stand Up Forklift - 2nd Shift in ALTOONA, Iowa


This is a 2nd shift position as a dockworker which will be operating a stand up forklift to load and unload trucks.

Daily Duties: Operate a stand-up forklift to load and unload trucks on the docks.

Use a RF scanner to scan product in and out of the warehouse. Everything is barcoded in the warehouse.

Count and track inventory through invoicing. Handwriting must be eligible and forms must be filled out correctly.

Detail oriented work - scanners and paper invoices are used to fill out inbound and outbound product.

Will fill out inspection sheets for trucks leaving the docks including correct amounts.

Must be comfortable working in temperatures from 38 degrees or colder.

Will lift 60-70lbs at most; most labor intensive work will be used when operating forklift.

Must be comfortable assisting in all types of warehouse work including stacking, packaging, scanning, cleaning, etc.

Work in a fast paced environment - 80 trucks come in and out every day
