Job Description

nsight Global is looking for a Lead/Senior CAD Drafter to work for a biodiesel plant in Ames, Iowa or Tulsa, OK. This group is responsible for operating the plants optimally, reliably, predictably, and without incident at the lowest sustainable cost. The main responsibility of this person will be to support capital projects, general CAD drafting, and Process Safety Management (PSM) compliance. Day to Day this person will be coordinating with engineers, project managers, and plant/maintenance staff to create or update CAD drawings completely and accurately.

Compensation:

$40/hr to $55/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of experience working in industrial AutoCAD drafting

Drafting experience in chemical processing facilities or onshore oil and gas facilities

Ability to create CAD diagrams and drawings such as,

  Block Flow Diagrams (BFDs)

  Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs)

  Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).

  Electrical one-line drawings

  Control loop drawings

  General arrangement drawings

  Isometric drawings

  Hook-ups or installation details

Previous experience working independently as a sole CAD Drafter null
