MSA Professional Services, Inc Graduate Engineer II - Structural in Ankeny, Iowa
MSA has an opportunity for a Graduate Engineer II - Structural at any of the following offices: Wisconsin: Baraboo, Madison, Milwaukee; Iowa: Ankeny, Illinois: Champaign, Minnesota: St. Paul. You will have the opportunity to see, and contribute in, projects from start to finish. The various projects you'll be working on make a significant and positive impact on the communities you serve. Project types include parks and recreation structures, municipal buildings, water and wastewater structures, and retaining walls.

The work you will do
Perform structural engineering design of steel, masonry, concrete, and wood structures
Perform design calculations and assemble calculation packages
Revit modeling of structural drawings
Coordinate designs with other disciplines
Site Visits of existing facilities and projects under construction
Review shop drawings and submittal review
What you bring
Skills & Knowledge / Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Architectural Engineering required
Master's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Architectural Engineering is a plus
1+ year of similar full-time experience
Internship experience in structural or architectural field required
Candidates with additional experience are encouraged to apply
Experience with Revit required
Experience with structural design software required; eg. RAM Elements
Outstanding communication skills, ability to multi-task, and detail oriented
