Responsibilities
The work you will do
- Design of HVAC and plumbing systems including calculations, layouts, sizing, equipment selections, specification, and coordination. Fire protection scope of work design specification and layout
- Drawing development using AutoCAD and Revit
- Perform code reviews
- Shop drawing and submittal review and processing
- Quantity take-offs and cost estimates
- Project management and client interaction
- Assist with mentoring junior technicians and engineers
Qualifications
What you bring
Skills and Knowledge / Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering required
- 1+ year post grad experience required
- Prior commercial plumbing design experience as an engineering MEP intern or HVAC/Plumbing internship preferred
- EIT required
- Experience with architectural projects such as schools, municipal buildings, health care facilities and commercial buildings required
- Prior experience coordinating a project from start to finish with both contractors, clients and other disciplines preferred
- Experience with Revit required
- Excellent planning and organizational skills required for fast-paced and multi-tasking environment with the ability to coordinate this information across disciplines
- This position requires you to have authorization to work in the United States for any employer. We will not provide sponsorship for this position.
