Responsibilities

The work you will do

  • Design of HVAC and plumbing systems including calculations, layouts, sizing, equipment selections, specification, and coordination. Fire protection scope of work design specification and layout
  • Drawing development using AutoCAD and Revit
  • Perform code reviews
  • Shop drawing and submittal review and processing
  • Quantity take-offs and cost estimates
  • Project management and client interaction
  • Assist with mentoring junior technicians and engineers
Qualifications

What you bring

Skills and Knowledge / Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering required
  • 1+ year post grad experience required
  • Prior commercial plumbing design experience as an engineering MEP intern or HVAC/Plumbing internship preferred
  • EIT required
  • Experience with architectural projects such as schools, municipal buildings, health care facilities and commercial buildings required
  • Prior experience coordinating a project from start to finish with both contractors, clients and other disciplines preferred
  • Experience with Revit required
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills required for fast-paced and multi-tasking environment with the ability to coordinate this information across disciplines
  • This position requires you to have authorization to work in the United States for any employer. We will not provide sponsorship for this position.
