Job Description

Henningsen Const., Inc. in Atlantic, Iowa is looking for an experienced road mechanic for our asphalt division. The road mechanic prevents and corrects equipment malfunctions at the job site for all types of equipment. It requires the ability to diagnose, repair and replace all components common to a variety of heavy duty construction equipment. Effectively communicates equipment issues with foremen and superintendents. Must provide your own tools. Must have a valid drivers license and acceptable driving record. Must be able to pass a drug test. Long hours can be expected during the summer along with out of town travel. Winter hours would be at the shop. All company policies and procedures must be followed as well as all safety guidelines. We are looking for someone that has the ability to get to work on time, work hard, and understand that we work every day until the job is done.
