Employ safe work habits at all times. Report any hazards to supervision without delay. Exercise proper care and protection of company property.Operate mobile equipment, including forklift trucks, lifts, and booms to assist with all production work.Maintain work area in a clean and orderly fashion.Occasional production work as required to cover breaks, lunches, vacations and absenteeism.Perform other duties as directed by supervision.Job RequirementsAssociates degree or trade school preferred with a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.Minimum of 3 years of related field experience preferred.Must be knowledgeable of Allen Bradley systems, VFD's, PLC's hardware and software, AC/DC circuits, 4-20 mA circuits and 440 MCC's.Ability to write code and demonstrate a working knowledge of RS Logic.Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and drawings, handbooks, specifications, equipment manuals, parts lists and other written material as associated with the position.Skilled in the use of hand and power tools, electrical test equipment and related tools and instruments necessary to perform the job.Ability to work efficiently at high speeds. Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment preferred.Must have good trouble shooting skills, ability to diagnose and complete repairs in emergency situations.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Must be able to take direction as well as be self-motivated and work alone.Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.Physical Requirements:Ability to kneel, stoop, crawl, squat and stand for extended periods of time while performing job duties (up to 12-hours a day). Ability to push, pull, bend, climb, walk, and lift on a continuous basis (up to 12-hours a day). Be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds overhead on an occasional basis. Possess excellent hand-eye coordination, adequate dexterity and strength in order to maintain and operate equipment. Ability to distinguish through the use of audio, visual, olfactory, and tactile senses when the equipment is properly operating.
