Clysar LLC Electrical Engineer in Camanche, Iowa

An Electrical Engineer in Clysar, LLC will lead and implement capital projects needed to support the business. iAdditionally, they provide day-to-day troubleshooting and assistance to Operations and Maintenance with the siteis electrical and control systems. These responsibilities include developing and leading various activities in the plant aimed at maintaining and improving Safety, Quality, Service, and Cost.Opportunities:Work autonomously to identify opportunities for improvement.Influence work assignments based on personal ideas, technical expertise, and experience.Work with a team in a collaborative environment.Responsibilities:Support Operations as required to achieve Safety, Quality, Productivity, Service, and Cost objectives for the Business.Proactively identify business risk and initiate improvement plans, taking ownership of the results.Develop, plan, and implement capital improvement projects.Coordinate with other departments to implement design changes, modifications, and repairs.Support Maintenance and Operations with electrical projects and troubleshooting of all key systems including PLCis (Allen Bradley ControlLogix, CompactLogix, MicroLogix, SLC, and PLC5), Drives (Allen Bradley, Parker/SSD), HMIis (FactoryTalk View), Plant floor control networks (Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet, and DH+), power distribution, and general-purpose industrial controls.Assist in the development and support of effective preventive and predictive Maintenance procedures for plant electrical and control systems.Manage and interface with OEM and support contractors.Assist Operations and Maintenance with the on-going operation and maintenance of general plant utilities and services.Maintain orderly project files and equipment documentation.Maintain and modify all key production machine programming systems and software.Lead and/or participate in Cross-Functional project teams.Mentor less-experienced engineers and technicians. Provide documentation and conduct training that supports and promotes iiiiiskill and knowledge expansion throughout the facility.Stay abreast of technology advancesRequirements:Proven project management skillsStrong aptitude for Allen-Bradley/Rockwell PLC controls, drives, and I/O system.Experience with Ethernet communications, PID Loops, tension control, and electromechanical systems.Familiarity with plant power systems, PLC data collection (FactoryTalk Historian and Transaction Manager), SQL, and computer hardware/assembly would also be a beneficial.Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.Qualifications:Minimum of a BS in Electrical Engineering.Minimum two years of experiencei
