Description:

As a Test Design Engineer, you will create new, and improve existing test systems for off-highway electronics systems. You will be working at the intersection of hardware, software, and test fixture integration.

Responsibilities include:

• Generate and review requirements for test systems

• Create and review hardware and software testing architectures and designs

• Analyze results of tests to recommend and implement design improvements

• Write and implement code using LabVIEW

• Perform unit, integration, and systems verification and validation testing

• Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to ensure the final product is effectively integrated.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering

• Experience with LabVIEW or National Instruments products

• Experience working with requirements

• Experience working with electronics, preferably in a ruggedized environment (off-road vehicles)

• Experience working with hardware systems (transistors, A/D converters, etc.)

• Familiarity with communication protocols preferred (CAN, ethernet, USB, RS-232, etc.)

• Familiarity or experience with Pspice, MathCAD, or OrCad preferred
