Randstad Engineering Solutions is looking for a Senior ASIC design engineer with expertise in DO254 DAL-A programs to lead ASIC conversion programs while adhering to DO254 DAL-A requirement driven compliance. This role is remote with possible 1-2 month initial on-site time in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The successful candidate will be involved in initial bring up (on-site) of a new ASIC, completing DO254 compliance work, and then leading several ASIC design conversion programs.

Job Duties -

Initial bring up (on-site) of a new ASIC, completing DO254 compliance work, and then leading several ASIC design conversion programs(old technology to new technology conversions).

Job Requirements -

ASIC design engineer with 7+ years of direct ASIC design experience

Completed multiple tape-outs of ASIC in the 90nm or smaller technology node

Expertise in synthesis, timing analysis, and ASIC signoff flows

strong Do-254 experience at DAL-A compliance

Requirements driven design experience

Lab based initial bring-up and debug of ASICs

Desired Skills & Experience -

Experience with multiple ASIC foundaries

FPGA-to-ASIC or ASIC-to-ASIC conversion experience
