Perform analysis at all levels of the total system product including concept, design, fabrication, modeling, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk. And supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Consider and evaluate alternatives accounting for similar metrics. Manage configuration process, perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. Perform architectural exploration. Decompose customer specifications and system level requirements into sub-system and piece part requirements and generates verification criteria and plans for the requirements. Work on multiple projects to assist in the technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, evaluating alternatives including cost and risk, supportability and analyses for total systems. Perform analyses at all levels of total system product including: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Conduct engineering processes using standard work, including verification and qualification procedures. Synthesize analyses of data and uses the results to prepare technical reports of findings and recommendations. Seek to identify possible problems presented in applicable projects that may cause a delay or exceed budget. Contribute to finding appropriate solutions. Apply scientific principles to innovate, design, develop and implement technologies, components, sub-systems, machines, tools and systems to ensure compliance to specifications, requirements and customer guarantees across applicable operating conditions. Ensure novel ideas and implementations are captured and protected using applicable IP processes and tools. National travel up to 4 times per year is required.Must possess at least a masteris degree or its equivalent in Avionics Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.i In the alternative, must possess at least a bacheloris degree or its equivalent in Avionics Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field and at least 2 years of experience as a Systems Engineer or a related role.
