Forklift Driver

Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa Pay: $16.07/hour Hours: 1st and 2^nd^ shift positions available
Job Responsibilities: **
- Read production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
- Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials
- Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves
- Transfer items to assembly line or shipping department
- Scan products using a warehouse management system and enter records electronically
- Support special projects as required
- Keep area clear of hazards and make sure that workspace is clean
- Follow all good manufacturing practices - follow all safety rules including use of PPE
- Support quality control goals and meet daily/weekly quotas
Skill Requirements:
- 2+ years of forklift / heavy machinery experience required
- Ability to stand, lift, bend, and reach for 8-10hours
- Lift 10 - 30 pounds and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Read and follow written instructions and visual training aids
- Work in a team environment and be flexible when production needs change
- Work environment temperature may vary based on task and location
- Ability to maintain safe work environment and follow safety and PPE protocols
