Physical Location - Hybrid: Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.

The Role: In this role, you will:

  • Design, test, analyze, integrate, qualify and document hardware of moderate to high complexity

  • Contribute to hardware engineering requirements capture and analysis in area of domain expertise

  • Participate in cross-functional team efforts in integration, pre-qualification and qualification for products and sub-systems of moderate to high complexity

  • Conduct root-cause-analysis and technical investigations for software/hardware designs.

  • Provide engineering assistance to production, service, and repair personnel

  • Provide technical support for electronics hardware architecture, circuit design, and trade study development for Navigation and Sensor Systems

  • Contribute to engineering program pursuits and the creation of bid estimates

Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship or Permanent Resident status.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline

  • Must have 5 years of experience working with electronics/electrical design and/or test

  • Be capable of hands-on troubleshooting using engineering lab equipment

  • Ability to effectively communicate in a professional manner and produce detailed, clear and concise technical documentation

  • US Citizenship is required

  • Must be capable of obtaining a U.S. DoD Secret security clearance

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Prefer candidates with Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering

  • Design experience including experience with schematic capture tools and PCB layout supervision and guidance to board designers

  • Working knowledge of circuit and signal simulation tools like, SPICE, HyperLynx, Keysight ADS and or AWR Microwave Office is desired

  • Experience with military aerospace testing standards is desired
