As a Millfitter, you will be performing machine shop skills such as turning shafts, milling and cutting keyways. You will be responsible for setting and aligning plant equipment with minimal supervision. The Millfitter is also responsible for following plant safety practices and demonstrating an understanding of proper operation of equipment and tools.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Correctly layout and install steam, acid, sprinkler, slurry and hydraulic piping systems

  • Perform Arc, Tig, and Mig welding procedures on both plate and pipe. Be able to weld different material thicknesses

  • Layout, fabricate and install all types of spouts, hoppers, transitions, and mechanical guards

  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Education: HS Diploma or GED

Experience (years/type ): 1 years of related maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, technical, military environment OR a two-year technical degree
