We are looking for multiple laborers to join a team that sets up highway safety equipment for road and highway construction. This is a seasonal role that will go until the winter weather. Unemployment and Continued Health Benefits available during layoff season. Will be brought back every year or hired on full time if candidate has earned a full time role based on performance and skills.

Description:

• Candidates will be expected to be familiar with the use of hand tools such as wrenches, plyers, impact drills. The work will be conducted in both a yard environment and on highways and interstate systems.

• Yard : loading and unloading trucks with barricades and traffic cones and barrels and assembling barricades.

• Highway and Interstate : Unloading and setting up the barricades, cones, barrels and signs.

• Flexibility in respect to job duties and how the day can change on short notice

Schedule:

• Could start anywhere from 5AM to 7AM (Based on the location of the job)

• End anywhere from 5PM to 7PM (depending on start time)

• Hours can be 12 hours per day.

Wage:

• $18 - $20/hr

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Must be able to be licensed and insured to operate company vehicles.

• Flexibility with schedule. Some night shift requirements.

• Home at night, some jobs will be outside of Council Bluffs Iowa and Omaha, Nebraska area by 1-2 hours.

• Company transportation provided

• Must be comfortable working on the side of road while traffic is passing by
