Come grow with us!General Purpose and Scope of Position:The plant operator is a motivated individual who will assist in all aspects of general warehouse duties. This will include, but is not limited to, stocking and retrieving package and bulk containers, providing support to the overall seed and seed treatment business, driving a forklift, driving truck and general housekeeping. The ideal candidate must enjoy working with a diverse customer base in a fast-paced setting.Key Skills and Abilities Include:Ability to work and contribute to a team approach with a positive attitude and outlookPresent a professional image to the Wilbur-Ellis customer through personal appearance and overall branch cleanlinessAbility to work in and adapt to a rapidly changing business environmentWillingness to operate material handling equipment including forklift, order picker, pallet jack and other equipment as requiredAbility to repetitively bend and lift boxes and bags up to 80 lbsWillingness and desire to work overtime hours during busy seasonsAbility to use computer hardware, software/intranet to make entries in ERP system.
