Actalent Controls Engineer in Davenport, Iowa

Description:

The controls engineer will serve as an expert in automation, instrumentation, and controls engineering. Responsibilities include: • Provides estimates, scope of work, and designs for customers, reviewing findings with customers. • Develops control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and other field instruments. • Designs, programs, and oversees installation of electrical and control systems. • Performs electrical studies, evaluating results and providing recommended solutions to customers. • Performs troubleshooting on associated equipment, including relays, power systems, ladder logic, and PLC controls. • Manages budget and schedule to ensure cost and deadline are met while providing value to customer.
