Tri-City Electric Project Manager Assistant in Davenport, Iowa
Tri-City Electric Co. is currently seeking a Project Manager Assistant (PMA) for immediate opening in Davenport, IA. The Project Manager Assistant will be responsible for providing overall on-site administrative and technical support on construction project sites.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Industrial Electrical contract administration, including routing of contract documents for approval, resubmission to General Contractor/Client/Owner, and saving documents into Viewpoint.
Issue Industrial Electrical subcontract agreements to all Tri-City Electric subcontractors.
Coordinate and facilitate project set-up, preconstruction, progress, and project close out meetings.
Assist Industrial Electrical project managers with permits, submittals, job cost reports, monthly WIP (Work In Progress) reports, and project billing (AIA, GMP, T&M, Unit Pricing), certificates of insurance, lien waivers.
Maintain electronic job files in Viewpoint/Procore for Industrial Electrical project managers.
Maintain project management templates in Viewpoint/Procore to track daily job logs, submittal logs, RFIs, change order requests and other forms as needed.
Maintain updated electronic drawings/prints for project managers, field staff, and the construction services division.
Assist in project close out including submission of warranty information, as-built drawings, and operation and maintenance manuals for Industrial Electrical project managers.
Serve as resource to project manager assistant team under the direction of the Operations Manager.
Coordinate with other divisions as needed.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
2-5 years of administrative support experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Construction Management or Project Management Certification preferred but not required
Candidates must possess strong attention to detail, tact, and consideration, focus on accuracy, solid communication skills, positive initiative and judgement, the ability to problem solve and meet deadlines, self-motivation, business acumen and be organized.
