DescriptionStanley Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer Substation to work with our team.Specific duties will include:Managing the detailed design of substation physical layouts, lightning protection, conduit and cable plans, grounding analysis and design, generating single and three-line schematic diagrams, panel wiring, DC schematics, control building and relay panel layouts, lighting design, and coordination with structural, civil, transmission line, and graphics disciplines. Other duties could include: performing system fault studies, generating arc flash analyses, performing site visits for data gathering, writing material procurement and construction specifications, evaluating contractor bids, calculating protective relay settings, reviewing shop drawings, researching equipment, developing voltage drop and battery sizing calculations, generating engineering fee estimates, providing field support during construction, and preparing reports.Required education, skills and experience:Ten (10) years progressive electrical substation design experienceBSEE and FE requiredMust be able to work legally in the United States for any length of timeMust have excellent verbal and written communication skills6+ years experience with Microsoft OfficeExperience designing with SCADA interface and protective relaying systemsPreferred skills, experience and education:EHV design experience is a plus.PE preferred and will be required for career development.Project Management experience including developing and managing a design budgets and schedulesExperience leading and mentoring less experienced engineers and designers.Experience meeting with clients and supporting marketing proposals/efforts#LI-LN1Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
