The position is located in Davenport, IA. Key Responsibilities:Provide technical leadership for hardware architecture and trade study development of high reliability aerospace applicationsLead or participate as a member of an integrated product development team to optimize designs and verify electronic/electrical system performanceConceptualize, design, test, and document sub-systems for aircraft safety and survivabilityCreate circuit designs including component selection, schematic capture, modeling, firmware development, and analysis for high-reliability embedded systemsConduct predictive analysis and modelingWork with board layout designers to ensure design integrityInterface with procurement and suppliers to ensure optimized component sourcingWorking with development team, create test procedures for qualification of electronic systemsProvide analysis to support electrical circuit changes or approvalsConduct root-cause-analysis and technical investigations for software/hardware designsWork with mechanical and stress engineers to ensure proper packaging of systemsProvide engineering assistance to production, service, and repair personnelProvide guidance and assistance to technicians for assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of prototype products Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (B.S.E.E. or B.E.E.) or Computer Engineering degree from an ABET accredited programMinimum of 5 years of experience in the electrical engineering fieldMinimum of 1 year of experience with embedded microprocessor design and peripheral interfacing with sensor inputsMinimum of 1 year of experience conducting critical circuit analysis/simulationMinimum of 1 year of experience writing technical material and presenting to customers and mid-level managersMinimum of 2 years of experience communicating with cross functional teamsThis position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by export laws of the US.
