General Laborer

Des Moines, IA

Pay: $18 Hourly Starting Wage (Pay Increase Opportunity)

Monday - Friday / 7am - 5pm / OT on Saturdays

Job Description: (Will be trained in on all tasks)

• Looking for skilled construction workers to join our team at a high-profile Data Center.

• As a General Laborer in this role, you will work off blueprints, use hand and power tools to assemble and mount trays, server racks/closets, and pull fiberoptic cable.

• Responsibilities include installing work area outlets for floors, modular furniture, and walls, routing cables, performing pre-termination procedures, building closets, performing fire-stopping procedures on fire walls, installing sleeves, pulling cable through sleeves and core penetration, and terminating low-voltage devices.

Work Environment:

• This job is performed in working elements - 10% outside & 90% inside

• Work is performed on an active construction site, large datacenter with lots of equipment and material being moved around consistently.

• Community work environment - multiple construction crews with various locations around site.

• Required to wear steel-toed work boots and jeans. Will be provided PPE gear.

Requirements:

• Valid Drivers License

• Pass 7 yr. back ground check and drug test (must be a clean back ground)

• Must have at least 1 yr. experience in: Construction / Landscaping / Heavy Industrial / Heavy Manufacturing
