Tool Install Structural Engineers at Intel provides facilities engineering leadership to the Virtual Factory Network for process technology transfers in support of Safety, Reliability, Quality, Environmental and Cost objectives. They also own safety within area of influence, ensuring that systems operate reliably to avoid manufacturing/facility or environmental excursions, system documentation and maintenance strategies supporting facilities development for the virtual factory network.
Structural Install Engineers at Intel also provide direct support for maintaining periodic communication to outside key suppliers to ensure the latest and most cost effective solutions are technically accurate to maintain master specifications and standards. They also provide technical guidance to ensure compliance, safety codes, Intel standards, as well as studying opportunities to reduce cost and improve schedules. In addition, they provide transfer support to FSM facilities operations to convert to new process technologies and ongoing technical guidance to sustain all facility teams to improve and maintain factory operations.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.
Master's or Bachelors degree with (2) or more years of experience in the field of Structural Engineering
PE license in the State of Oregon
Or passed the FE exam and have Oregon E.I.T
6+ months of experience in the following:
-Reading construction drawings
-Creating or executing engineering processes
-Applicable engineering experience in facility or equipment design
-Engineering methods and design principles to ensure analyzed content is both feasible and constructible
-Tool Install design experience
-2D CAD or 3D Modeling Software (eg AutoCAD Inventor SolidWorks Revit)
