As the Project Manager for our Des Moines, IA site, you'll become a Staff member from commencement of the contract through close-out.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Developing and controlling budgets and funding strategies

  • Scheduling and coordination of project interactions among existing and occupied facilities.

  • Managing interdisciplinary teams of professionals and support labor categories.

  • Integrating competing and/or conflicting elements into the planning and implementation processes so that project requirements flow smoothly

  • Responsible for RFI and Submittal administration

  • perform inspections of work installed

  • Review Pay apps; produce Change order estimates and all related documentation to resolve changes; and produce financial report.

  • identify safety items in the field


Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • Familiarity with Federal and local government office building projects, with procedural requirements, review requirements, and approval requirements.

  • Specific experience in the CMc project delivery method.

  • 10 or more years of relevant experience supporting PM/CM projects.

  • 4 year degree in Architecture, Engineering, Business Administration or Construction Management. Degree may be substituted if candidate has more than 10 years of management experience in the CM field.

  • Experience on Government projects and guiding projects minimum $10M in construction.

  • Good understanding and working knowledge of Interior Office construction.

  • MEP systems and Environmental remediation processes.

  • Experience Managing an At-Risk Contractor.

  • Excellent Computer and Verbal/Written Communication Skills.

Ideally, you'll have:

  • GSA project experience.
