Plans, organizes, and directs the efforts of a group of analysts. Provides recommendations on and performs professional or technical work in cost estimating, cost analysis, budgeting, scheduling, performance measurement, and/or cost research. Provides oversight to contractor Journeyman and Junior Level Cost Analysts related to cost estimating product reviews and approvals.
10+ years of relevant experience and a BA/BS degree.
Must have as a minimum, a BS/BA degree in Business, Engineering, Science (Physics or Chemistry only) or Mathematics.
Regardless of the degree field, a minimum of 24 semester credit hours in quantitative analysis courses are required.
Must have over ten (10) years of cost estimating, cost analysis, scheduling, budgeting, operations research or engineering experience, at least four of which involved military equipment. Two (2) years of the experience must have been in a leadership/management role. A Masters or PhD degree in business, math, science (physics or chemistry only), or engineering may be substituted for two years of the experience requirements (two years of leadership experience still required).
Security clearance: Secret
Experience in developing DoD cost estimates (Independent Government Cost Estimates and Life Cycle Cost Estimates) with minimal technical requirements documentation
Proficient in Excel Cost Model Development and proficient in Word for Cost Estimate Documentation
Able to travel approximately 10% or once each quarter during the year
