Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

You will unload and load trucks based on pick sheets. You will turn each order in with the ticket to the coordinator. Shipping is mainly LTL (less than truckload). You will work off pick tickets that are processed every 15 minutes. 60 percent of the work involves bulk orders (pallet), while 40% involves active picking on your feet. General cleaning is required every day.

This is a fully on-site position in Des Moines, Iowa.

Work Environment

Shift: 7am-5pm Monday-Friday with some overtime. Dress Code: Casual (jeans, t-shirt) and you need to supply your own steel-toed boots. Environment: Very clean warehouse! The manager expects daily sweeping, mopping, and using a floor scrubber. You should also pick up items if they are out of place. Each area has a location above it to help find items. The warehouse has a small team of 5-6, giving it a family feel.
