Your Responsibilities

As anElectrical Engineerfor John DeereConstruction and Forestry(C&F)located in Dubuque, IA, you will

  • Support requirements development and design for electronic components and electrical systems.

  • Lead Electrical PV&V activities for construction machine platforms.

  • Provide problem solving of electrical issues on new product development and current production.

  • Participate in print reviews and design reviews for new products.

What Skills You Need

  • Demonstrated problem solving skills.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Strong organization and workload planning skills.

  • 1 or more years of experience in Electronic Hardware including internships, school projects, or hobby activities.

  • Able to travel up to 25%.

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Electrical Engineering experience performing analysis, testing and/or design work.

  • Knowledge of electrical components such as batteries, starters, alternators, rocker switches, relays, solenoids, sensors, actuators, and connectors.

  • Experience in the automotive/heavy on-road/off-road industries.

  • Experience performing EMC testing and issue resolution.

  • Knowledge of electrical wire harness circuits and routing.

  • Experience writing functional, performance, and durability requirements.

Education

Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Computer Engineering, or equivalent will be considered with a strength in Electrical Circuit Theory.
