Volt has an opportunity for you to become part of a prestigious team of professionals. We are seeking an Electrical PV&V Engineer to work onsite at John Deere’s facility in Dubuque, IA. This is a contingent position expected to last 1 year.
leads, plans, develops, and executes verification plans (testing and analysis) for electrical components, sub-systems, and systems on one or more C&F product lines.
This person will provide leadership to less experienced engineers on the planning and executing of electrical verification by providing direction on planning, technical decisions, and priority for one or more product line.
Lead internal teams to drive methodology and efficiency improvements.
Provide problem solving of electrical issues on new product development and current production.
Lead/Participate on PDP (Product Delivery Process) and PV&V teams as the Electrical PV&V representative, ensuring PV&V activities and plans are formulated and followed.
Bachelor's degree (preferably Electrical Engineering) is required.
Prefer candidates with 3+ years of Electrical Engineering experience performing analysis, testing, and/or design work.
Must have knowledge of environmental verification testing, electrical wire harness circuits and routing and electrical components such as batteries, starters, alternators, rocker switches, relays, solenoids, sensors, actuators, connectors, and controllers and monitors.
Looking for someone with experience working with suppliers in the application of electrical components, experience in product verification and validation work, understanding of serial communications.
A strong candidate will also have a strong background in EMC testing, six sigma, and reliability testing.
Experience developing test plans, working with suppliers to execute test plans, developing product requirements, experience with wire harness design and evaluation.in organized planning and making day to day decisions with integrity.
