The Senior Project Engineering Manager will manage capital projects from end to end. You could manage multiple projects or one large project at times, all in support of our manufacturing operations. This manager will maintain visibility to the design process and assure adherence to all established key components and project deliverables. You will directly manage overall project execution including scope, cost, engineering design review, bidding, construction, communication with key business stakeholders, and commissioning. You will organize work assignments for the cross-functional teams executing these projects as well.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop project management plans and maintain milestone schedules
Manage adherence to project scope and secure approvals for all changes
Manage and control project budget, cost forecasts, cash flow projections, and status reports
Manage bidding and prequalification vetting processes
Evaluate, select, and issue contracts for construction firms
Direct installation, construction, and commissioning
Provide plant startup assistance as needed
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field
7+ years of Project Management experience in a Manufacturing, Industrial, Military, or related environment
