Job Title: Survey Technician

Job Description

The Survey Technician will assist in conducting land surveys and measurements to support various projects. This role involves working with advanced surveying equipment and software to collect and process data. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Commitment to following safety procedures is essential.

Hard Skills

• Performing 3D scanning and drone operations

• Utilizing digital levels to set high accuracy elevations on project control and benchmarks

• Operating traditional land surveying tools (GPS/Total Stations) to complete topographic mapping surveys

• Calculating horizontal and vertical positions from engineering plans for contractors

• Completing property research for land surveying activities

• Utilizing 2D software for platting activities

• Drafting existing site conditions using multiple software programs

Soft Skills

• Strong technical skills

• Excellent attention to detail

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Keokuk, Iowa.

Work Environment

Work involves both field and office activities, requiring the ability to adapt to varying conditions.
