The Curries brand is adding to the team. This role will be based on-site at our manufacturing facility located in Mason City, Iowa.
What would you do as our Door Specialist?
The Door Specialist will work to resolve all questions regarding order processing of doors.
You would also:
Maintain all work instructions for processing and coordination of doors.
Serve as Door Order Processing expert in all new or modified product designs.
Research and process door change orders.
Add new ship loose part numbers or new prefinished paint colors in the system.
Review, update and maintain master files.
Review daily draft drawings and keep master files updated.
Create and update Quick CD and MS numbers
Authority and responsibility to perform all job related quality activities, including ability to stop action or work until all issues are resolved and corrective procedures have been established and implemented to prevent future occurrences.
Other duties as assigned.
The Skills and Experience you need :
High School or GED equivalent
Ability to read and interpret mechanical design drawings required, with experience with sheet metal product design and fabrication preferred.
Thorough understanding of CURRIES door order systems software and procedures required.
Good understanding of commercial door and frame hardware preferred.
Experience with word processing and spreadsheet PC software preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be detail oriented, with the ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
