ManpowerGroup Project Engineer in Moravia, Iowa

The Project Engineer III will plan, coordinate, and execute capital projects from initiation through closeout. In this role you will coordinate and direct capital projects of fixed duration to ensure that the goals and objectives are accomplished within the determined timeframe and budget. We seek a professional who will develop and apply engineering standards and procedures, providing advice on issues within the engineering field.

Job Title: Project Engineer

Location: Eddyville, IA (100% onsite at Client site)

Pay: $55 - $88/hour

Duration: Contract to Hire or DIRECT HIRE

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design and estimate time and cost, overseeing construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, systems and components.

• Analyze and develop solutions to engineering problems related to manufacturing equipment and systems or the causes of component failures.

• Design and improve manufacturing processes, instruments and equipment, testing manufactured products to maintain quality.

• Drive and support integration of, and adherence to, corporate and legal requirements in the design and construction of new facilities, processes, equipment, and utilities.

• Collaborate with regional domain leads for domain specific expertise support in build projects.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager (Flexible)

  • Engineering Degree Required: Mechanical, Chemical or Agricultural preferred

  • Process engineering experience required

  • Experience managing build projects with total project cost ($5k-$10MM)

  • • Experience managing build projects in the food processing or agricultural sectors• Experience managing contractors
