Position Overview:

The Plant Construction Laborer will be responsible for a cariety of tasks in the concrete industry. The Laborer is a full-time position, requires travel with overtime through peak season, reports to the Construction Manager, and has no supervisory responsibility.

    Essential Duties and Functions:

  • Be prompt and timely for all assigned shifts, schedules, and projects

  • Perform a variety of tasks in the concrete industry

  • Operate tools and equipment as needed

  • Help build new concrete plants in all states

  • Ability to climb ladders and perform work on buildings of all heights

  • Lift heavy objects, maintain, repair, and clean equipment

  • Assist with maintenance or repair of equipment as needed

  • Willingness to perform duties outside the normal scope of work (i.e. work in poor weather conditions or outside normal hours)

    Position Requirements:

  • Consent to authorization of a pre-employment work screen and drug test

  • Consent to authorization of a pre-employment Motor Vehicle Record request

  • Basic maintenance skills

  • Fabrication skills (i.e. welding and electrical)

  • Experience and knowledge of general construction and operating equipment

  • Understand instructions from supervisory positions, both written and verbal

    Physical Requirements:

    The physical requirements to successfully perform the job functions are:
