PURPOSE: Continue with advanced training on Harris Rebaris detailing system (RebarCAD); continue development of industry knowledge, company and construction sites practices. Expand understanding of Harris Rebaris business system. Develop ability to detail more complex work while still being checked by supervisor.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESiDemonstrate conduct consistent with Harris Rebaris vision and values.iContinue developing skills with Harris Rebaris detailing system (RebarCAD).iContinue developing knowledge of industry reference material (i.e. CRSI and ACI manuals).iVerify drawings, dates, specifications, addenda and other contractual information from the routing sheet or directly from the business system.iWorking with supervision, begin detailing more complex projects (i.e. jobs with columns, beams, one and two way slabs, and grade beams.)iBring any change(s) made to the contract documents to the attention of your supervisor (i.e. change made of the approval drawings, changes made by the field or yourself).iDetail accessories, mesh, couplers and dowel bars and prepare material lists as required.iWork with job site personnel to determine project requirements for both detailing and delivery of material.iWork with A/E regarding problems or questions on contract documents.iProduce the material list for all products from RebarCAD and produce replacement orders as required.iEnter all drawings for submission into drawing tracking system.iPerform other duties as required by your supervisor.Job Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSiVocational certificate in CAD design/drafting issued from an accredited school or college or equivalent combination of training and work experienceiAt least 1 year of experience with Harris Rebaris detailing system (RebarCAD) or other CAD based detailing systemiKnowledge of construction or civil technologyiBasic knowledge of reinforcing bar detailingiWorking knowledge of industry reference material (i.e. CRSI and ACI)iAbility to work as a team member on projects with an aptitude for problem solvingiOrganized and detail orientediAble to manage time effectively and prioritize responsibilitiesiEffective verbal and communication skillsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION iTwo year technical degree from an accredited school or collegeSPECIAL DEMANDSiMust be able to work overtime when requiredPHYSICAL DEMANDSiTypical office activitiesiWalking, sitting, standing, bendingiUsing hands to operate objects, tools, computers and other electronic equipmentiLifting/handling computers and related equipmentiVision abilities including close vision and adjusting focusiModerate noise levelYou may be asked to complete approximately two hours of assessments as part of the hiring process.Harris Rebar is an Equal Opportunity Employer - M/F/Disabled/Vet and Drug Free Workplace
