Kinze Electrical Test Engineer in North Liberty, Iowa
Kinze Manufacturing Inc. is searching for an Electrical Test Engineer who will define, execute and document tests plans for electrical components and systems on agricultural equipment.
Coordinate and conduct test plans for the development, verification, and validation of new and current electronic components.
Lead testing of electrical components for system applications including communications, computing, sensing, control, and power distribution.
Provide input to electrical and controls requirements.
Work with cross-functional engineering team including mechanical, controls, software, and quality and program management.
Collaborate with product teams on the design analysis, simulation, field tests, certification/compliance tests for components and systems.
Develops and validates information needed for engineering analyses, including root cause analysis, and applies engineering judgment to solve complex technical problems.
Design and develop along with Test Technicians, Proto and Tool and Die test fixtures to facilitate efficient and effective test fixtures.
Coordinate and assist Test Technicians in test prep and set-up.
Analyze and report test data from multiple sources into a single report.
Present reports, test data and overall results to management as directed.
Record and maintain data base on test results.
Make product improvement recommendations based on functional test.
Ability to travel for offsite testing.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
3-6 Years of relevant Engineering experience.
Hands-on experience with data acquisition hardware and software.
Instrumentation techniques, equipment, and their use.
Demonstrated capability to work independently to resolve problems and complete tasks.
Experience with heavy agricultural machinery operation.
SOMAT and National Instruments equipment.
Scientific Programming (Basic, Python, C, other).
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of LabVIEW.
