Job Title: Warehouse Operator

Job Description

We are a full-service distributor of bulk food ingredients. We distribute bulk ingredients to various companies and are looking for a Forklift Operator to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Operate Sit Down Forklift

• Read the computer and use a scan gun when pulling product

• Lift up to 80 lbs

• Accurately record data and information

• Case picking/unloading product

• Read labels and understand what products cannot be mixed

• Maintain awareness of allergen and cross-contamination guidelines

Essential Skills

• 1+ year of Forklift experience

• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs

• High School Diploma or GED

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with food safety guidelines is a plus

Work Environment

The work environment is very fast-paced, and candidates must be prepared to hustle and work hard. The warehouse is colder in winter and warmer in the summer. We have a great culture, treating contractors like full-time employees with the goal of bringing people on directly. We believe in providing feedback in the moment and prioritize safety. Openings are available from Wednesday to Saturday, 7am to 5:30pm, or Sunday, Monday, Tuesday 6am to 6:30pm, and Friday 5am to 9am. Overtime is available but not mandatory. The dress code includes shorts/pants, sleeved shirts (no profanity), and steel-toed shoes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Liberty, Iowa.
