Job Summary

Project Manager will manage 5-15 employees including subcontractors on one or more building projects and ensure that each project is on schedule and is being completed within the allotted budget. They will oversee each phase of construction throughout the entire life cycle.

Job Duties

  • Ensure assigned projects are being completed within agreed upon time frame and within budget.

  • Provide weekly status updates to management regarding incidents, change orders, progress, and costs associated with each project.

  • Coordinate with vendors and manufacturing department to ensure timely delivery of material to job sites.

  • Manage worksite safety program in accordance with Centurion Industries, OSHA, CSR Gen. Ind. 1910 worksite safety polices.

  • Ensure Sub-Contractors assigned to job are completing work in a timely manner with a high standard of quality.

  • Communicate with customers or their representatives on progress and change orders in a timely manner to ensure project remains within timeline.

  • Manage the profit and loss (P&L) of each assigned project to ensure budgets are met and sub-contractors are paid accordingly.

  • Track all material costs and labor costs.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of construction site operations.

  • Strong ability to lead and manage a variety of people during each phase of construction process.

  • Strong understanding of budgets and P&L management

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and people.

  • Strong knowledge of construction timelines and process.

  • MUST know how to read blue print drawings

    Physical Requirements:

  • This position requires the person to stand for long periods of time in excess of 5 hours.

  • Lift material and objects in excess of 30 lbs unassisted.

  • Work at heights in excess of 10 ft or more at times.

  • Work outside in various conditions from extreme heat and extreme cold.

  • Climb ladders, walk, bend, stoop, and kneel throughout day.

  • Operate machinery such as, bucket lifts, skytrack, scissor lifts.
