Cedar Valley Corp., LLC Project Manager Assistant in Waterloo, Iowa
Cedar Valley Corp. is seeking a project manager assistant or paid intern who will assist project managers with administration of 2023 construction projects.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and update project schedules
Review and understand all project plans, specifications, special provisions, road standards, material requirements, and any other contract documents
Coordinate internally equipment delivery
Coordinate with subcontractors and material suppliers
Work closely with paving and grade crews to understand what they need to build a quality project
Evaluate when extra work not defined within the contract documents applies and determine quantities to develop an extra work cost
Interact with owner to provide schedule and work progress updates. Includes being a point of contact to address issues or concerns of the owner
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing or have completed a degree in Civil or Construction Engineering
Strong communication skills
Valid driver’s license
