The Electrical & Automation Engineer/Specialist will work onsite in Waverly in a collaborative-rich manufacturing environment.

Description:

The Electrical & Automation Specialist will have the following responsibilities:

• Interface with Electrical Controls Technicians to support the electrical and controls elements of the manufacturing equipment

• Performing programming, troubleshooting, and modifications to ladder logic (Allen Bradley PLCs and HMIs) on manufacturing equipment

• Coordinating between plant-level resources and corporate engineering on automation-related capital improvement projects regarding budgets, resources, schedules, et al

• Manage capital expansion and improvement projects ranging from $10,000 to multimillion dollar project

• Working with E&A Manager to develop strategic vision for resource and project needs

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors in Engineering field preferred (in lieu of degree, commensurate experience will be considered) or Associates plus 10+ years experience in field

• 5 years of PLC programming and troubleshooting (manufacturing environment preferred)

• Allen Bradley PLC experience

• Good communication skills

• Demonstrated project experience
